Placements
This list includes some former PhD students' first placements after graduation. It does not include all former PhD students.
Dr. Aleksi Pitkäjärvi defended his disseratation in May 2023 and started as an Assistant Professor at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in fall 2023.
Dr. Ellapulli Vasudevan defended his dissertation in May 2020. His first placement was as Assistant Professor at ESCP Paris in 2020 and second placement as Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in 2021.
Dr. Mikael Paaso defended his disseration in June 2019 and started as an Assistant Professor at Erasmus University Rotterdam in September 2019.
Dr. Petra Vokatá defended her disseration in May 2019 and started as an Assistant Professor at the Fisher College of Business, Ohio State University in fall 2019.
Dr. Markus Sihvonen defended his dissertation in June 2018 and immediately after started as a Research Economist at the Bank of Finland
Dr. Vitaly Orlov defended his dissertation in December 2016 and started as an Assistant Professor in the University of St. Gallen in August 2017
Dr. Ville Rantala defended his dissertation in May 2016 and started as an Assistant Professor in University of Miami in August 2016.
Dr. Deniz Okat defended his dissertation in May 2016 and started as an Assistant Professor in Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in August 2016.
Dr. Magnus Blomkvist has started on September 1, 2014 as an assistant professor of finance at The Audencia School of Management in Nantes.
Dr. Kalle Rinne defended his PhD dissertation in May 2012 and started immediately after it as a Post Doc researcher at the Luxembourg School of Finance.
Dr. Petri Jylhä defended his PhD dissertation in May 2012 and started as an Assistant Professor of Finance at Imperial College Business School in September 2012.
Dr. Joni Kokkonen joined the CATÓLICA-LISBON School of Business & Economics as an Assistant Professor of Finance in September 2011.
